The Laser

EVLT is performed with a 15 watt, 810nm DIOMED Diode Laser that is:

Compact and portable - fits in the treatment room and can be transported easily.

Quick to set up - runs from a standard electrical wall socket.

Easily maintained - designed as a solid state system and has no moving parts.

Easy-to-use - gives immediate access to treatment options and operating modes.

Versatile - can be used in transdermal applications to treat spider veins and smaller vascular lesions.

Built-In Product Safety - unique EVLT SiteMarks allow the user to accurately assess the location of the fiber tip. This alleviates the danger of vein punctures and ensure correct positioning every time.

Available in 15W & 30W power outputs, DIOMEDplus diode lasers incorporate many operator friendly features and advantages…

• Compact and portable, they fit neatly into the doctor’s office or operating suite and can be easily transported from one clinic to another or between hospital departments.

• Quick to set up, the laser runs from a standard electrical wall socket and is ready for use within seconds.

• Maintenance & service requirements are minimal as the DIOMEDplus is a solid state system.

• Easy to use, the menu driven user interface gives immediate access to fiber or spot handpiece treatment options and energy delivery in continuous, pulsed, repeat pulse, timed countdown or fluence operating modes.

The affordable option for the office or outpatient practice, private clinic or single specialty hospital use where space is at a premium. The laser incorporates a radiometer for calibration of the spot handpiece.

Fibers: 400µm – 1000µm core

Handpiece: 2mm Fixed Focus Spot

Delivering additional power, this is an ideal system for ‘contact’ and ‘non-contact’ (under 30W) fiber delivered applications and for a broader range of spot handpiece applications. The laser incorporates a radiometer for calibration of the spot handpieces.

Fibers: 400µm – 1000µm core

Handpiece: 2mm & 4mm Fixed Focus Spot

Precisely The Right Wavelength
The specific 810nm wavelength used in EVLT is set to target vein treatment. Its safety and efficacy have been tested and proven in clinical trials for a full two years.

The EVLT Advantage
EVLT represents a significant breakthrough in treatment of the greater saphenous vein, with considerable practice-building potential. Only DIOMED offers the EVLT procedure kit and practice-building program to help you get started.
