Terason t3000 Ultrasound:

Images so rich, you won’t believe they were created with a laptop computer.

The Terason t3000™ Ultrasound System is a powerful, portable imaging solution that offers image quality, networking and workflow benefits not previously possible in a small system. The Terason t3000 System delivers world class imaging performance by leveraging the power of the Fusion™ Processor and a high-performance laptop computer. The familiar Windows graphical user interface makes the system intuitive and easy to use, and flexible design allows the system to be instantly convertible from a portable unit to a cart-based system.

Teratech™ Architecture
The Terason t3000 system is based upon Teratech Architecture, the most significant ultrasound system architecture breakthrough in years. Teratech Architecture combines the front-end Fusion processor with powerful PC-based software back-end data processing. Leveraging patented charge-domain processing and system integration technologies, this enormously flexible, scalable platform enables the development and seamless integration of cutting edge imaging applications and the flexibility to expand system capabilities. Teratech Architecture produces superb imaging and Doppler, and facilitates real-time, quantitative image and data analysis.

Fusion™ Processor
Terason’s Fusion Processor is the brain of the Terason t3000 System. Unlike “custom ASIC” solutions that are based on off-the-shelf components, the Fusion Processor is the world’s only fully custom-designed, integrated ultrasound chip set. The Fusion Processor drives 256 beam forming channels. Its 128 transmit beam forming channels allow multi-focal transmit zones, each dynamically focused with different aperture, frequency and waveform characteristics. It also drives 128 receive beam forming channels, for incredible B-Mode sensitivity and exceptionally high frame rates, and supports higher frequency transducers for applications requiring high-resolution imaging.

2-D Digital Imaging
128 digital beamforming channels deliver excellent image uniformity, tissue contrast resolution, and steering flexibility in frequencies from 2 MHz to 10 MHz. The high channel count supports true phased array and high-element count imaging transducers.

Colour Doppler
Detailed information on mean velocities acquired by Doppler studies can be enhanced through use of Colour Doppler.

M-Mode
Simultaneous 2-D and M-Mode imaging is valuable for the efficient assessment of moving structures.

Power Doppler
The high dynamic range inherent in the SuperChip design provides superb Doppler sensitivity and penetration for all applications.

Directional Power Doppler
With the addition of directional information, the utility of Power Doppler is expanded to differentiate flow directions.

Pulsed Wave Spectral Doppler
Spectral Doppler and 2-D imaging are displayed on screen simultaneously for accurate sample volume placement. The relative sizes of the individual displays of the two waveforms are easily adjustable.

Electronic Steering
All Terason Doppler imaging modes allow sample volumes to be electronically steered up to 20 degrees, left or right.
