About Dr. James MacDonald

Dr. MacDonald graduated from University of Ottawa Medical School in 1985; he completed post-graduate training with University of Toronto and subsequently completed certification in Family Medicine and Special Competence in Emergency Medicine through McMaster University. Dr. MacDonald has practiced Emergency Medicine for over 21 years where he has developed an expertise and facility for performing procedures. Amongst those skills; venous access, ultrasound, local and regional anesthesia, are particularly utilized in the assessment ant treatment of venous disease. Dr. MacDonald has received his phlebology training from vascular surgeons in Toronto, cosmetic and phlebology experts in Lindsay, and Barrie Ontario.
