About Dr. Theodore Rapanos and Oakville Vascular

It was Dr. Theodore Rapanos’ pleasure to join the division of Vascular Surgery as an assistant professor and practicing surgeon at McMaster University on July 1, 2009. Having completed a BSc (Trinity College), MSc in physiology, followed by a medical degree and general surgery residency at the University of Toronto, Dr. Rapanos was fortunate to obtain opportunities to continue his training in vascular surgery through McMaster University, the Toronto Vascular Institute and Stanford University. Having trained in Canada and U.S. medical systems, with large volumes of open, standard, advance, endovascular and percutaneous procedures, Dr. Rapanos can offer patients specific experience in endovascular aortic surgery as well as a unique perspective in the treatment of infra-inguinal disease. Further, Dr. Rapanos is one of only a few vascular surgeons nation-wide to complete certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist, affording him the ability to offer patients complete vascular care.
