About Dr. Sanjoy Kundu

The Vein Institute of Toronto founding physician and current Medical Director is Dr. Sanjoy Kundu BSc, MD, FRCPC, DABR, FASA, FCIRSE, FSIR. Dr. Kundu completed medical school and a residency in Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Toronto. Following this, he completed a Fellowship in Angiography and Interventional Radiology (Minimally Invasive Procedures) at the University Health Network in Toronto. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is board certified in the United States.

Dr. Kundu is the only physician in Ontario to be sanctioned by the College of Physicians and Surgeons to perform Endovenous Laser Ablation for the treatment of varicose veins.
