Dr. Lindsay Machan is an Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia. He continues his practice in the area of interventional radiology at the University of British Columbia Hospital. Dr. Machan also serves as an Interventional Radiologist at Vancouver Hospital and Health Sciences Center. He has played a significant role in Canada's medical technology industry over the last 15 years, both as a Co-Founder and Consultant to Angiotech Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Dr. Machan is a Member of Physician Advisory Board of MedVenture Associates. He is a Director of Medical Ventures Corp. since January 2005. Dr. Machan is also a patent holder on multiple drug and device technologies including drug eluting stents and has served on the Scientific Advisory Boards of Abbot Vascular Systems, Novartis, Biosphere Medical, Secant Medical, and CardioMind.
